What is Sowellian Governance?

We turn proposals into simple Yes/No prediction markets:

• Members bet tokens on the outcome they believe will happen.
• Those bets automatically cast votes proportional to the stake.
• Market prices reflect the collective belief in success and directly influence whether the proposal passes.

Everything runs fully on-chain in three clear stages:

1. Betting: Stake on Yes or No; votes are cast based on total bets.
2. Evaluation: Time passes to observe the real-world outcome.
3. Resolution: The proposer confirms the KPI/outcome; winners claim rewards, losers withdraw instantly.

How to Get Started (It's Simple)

1. Set up your Realm

   • Create a Quasi Token (zero supply mint)
   • Set Proposal Threshold to 50%
   • Use Absolute Voter Weight = 2 × Quorum
   • Adjust voting duration as needed

   

2. Create your first Sowellian Proposal

"Bet Over Minutes" sets how long betting lasts before voting begins (e.g., 44 hours betting + 4 hours voting in a 48-hour window).
